The popular hit show “Folx Stadl” is now being produced in Bad Tölz in the “Folx TV” television studio.

Now there was a recording where the audience could take a look behind the scenes.

Bad Tölz – The former “Blu” discotheque in Tölzer Moraltpark stood empty for eleven years.

But that's been over for four months.

Since last November, the “Folx Stadl” has been produced for the private broadcaster “Folx TV” where Tölz youth once met to celebrate.

Lots of spotlights on the ceiling, bales of straw on the floor - decoratively distributed and with a cheerful, colorful LED wall in the background.

The former “Blu” is no longer recognizable.

A lot has happened since the broadcaster “Folx TV” took over the property.

“We are gradually expanding the television studio.

But it all takes time,” says managing director and producer Sebastijan Artic.

Broadcast is on Saturday evening

Nevertheless, production has been going on since November.

Two programs are recorded two days a month in the “Folx Stadl-Arena”, which then entertain fans of folk music on Saturday evenings via the private channel - available via satellite or live stream.

Musician Hansi Berger moderates the show with a mixture of music, sketches and entertainment.

The singers Lucky Putz, “Spitzbua” Markus and Martina Rauscher accompany the production as a “bar team”.

The show provides a platform for emerging artists as well as established stars to get the audience dancing and singing along.

That evening, well-known names in the folk music scene such as the Austrian Melanie Payer and Michael Hirte, former Supertalent winner, were welcomed.

The recording for the program ran continuously without a break and only with a short interruption - the reason was a sound feedback.

Audience got a lot of insights

The audience had the opportunity to be there in the studio and experience the atmosphere live.

As previously rehearsed, the audience supported with clapping and singing.

The audience also had the opportunity to get to know all the processes involved in recording the show and take a look behind the scenes.

For example, what happens around the stage while the artists give interviews or sketches are performed - everything that cannot otherwise be seen on television.

Anyone who arrived on time and in appropriate clothing, especially traditional costumes, was allowed to take part in the show as extras at tables on the stage.

Visitors are enthusiastic

This also included Elfriede Mayer from Lenggries, who was there for the third time with her daughter and niece: “We used to go to the Wolfseehalle more often and saw today's stars like Florian Silbereisen grow up,” she says.

“I’m pleased that a television studio like this with the opportunity to watch live is back in our area.

We love coming here.”

“I'm very pleased that 'Folx Stadl' is being filmed near me.

I'd love to be there.

“Otherwise I’ll drive further and further away,” she says happily.

The broadcasting group also has further plans for its television studio: “We have rented the space for five years.

We are planning a hit show for our second station, which will also be produced in this studio.

“We will also rebuild the other side,” explains Artic.
