The burglar was able to get into the gas station through the toilet window.

The gas station thief stole numerous cigarettes in Pähl.
However, the perpetrator lost his prey while trying to escape.
Pähl - According to the police report, a rear toilet window gave the perpetrator access to the gas station.
The unknown man entered the gas station on the B2 near Pähl through the toilet window shortly after midnight on Sunday.
In the building itself, after deactivating the alarm system, he stole numerous cigarettes.
The tenant was apparently notified by the alarm center and rushed to the building.
The perpetrator then fled with his prey across fields and forests towards Wielenbach.
There he probably tripped over a tree and lost his prey, which was found during a later search by the police patrol.
Overall, property damage amounted to around 1,000 euros.
The Weilheim police station will receive information about this incident on 0881/640-0.
