Never before has the French embassy in Greece seen so many French higher education establishments participating in the Salon des études en France, in Athens.
The influx was such that it aroused the curiosity of the Greek Minister of Education, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, who came to meet them with the French ambassador, Laurence Auer.
“No less than 40 establishments and 16 universities are concerned, with a 20% increase in Greek students in France,”
says the university and scientific cooperation services of the French Institute of Greece.
An institute which has also encouraged the signing of a partnership between the universities of Athens and three sections of the Sorbonne (medicine, engineering and literature).
Without neglecting the in-depth work carried out by the civil servants mobilized for the event, we cannot ignore the interest of French establishments in Greece, in particular with the new bill recently submitted to Vouli, the Greek Parliament.
