The woman involved collided with a parked car on Sunday, February 18th and sustained head injuries, according to police.
When two helpers rushed to support the cyclist, the older woman's dog attacked and bit her.
One of the people helping suffered serious facial injuries, while the other helper was injured in the calf.
A breath test carried out on the cyclist showed an alcohol content of around one per thousand.
The woman is now being investigated on suspicion of endangering road traffic and negligent bodily harm.
