Highlights: Pixar in concert, at the Colón: for the first time, all the hits, one after the other. Summaries of the films are projected and there are also actors. The Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón is back on stage, like last year at Disney 100 in concert, and its almost 70 members occupy a good part of the stage, leaving a space in the middle. Another success in just 9 days, 32,000 people will see Pixar in concert.

The best-known songs from Pixar's hits. Summaries of the films are projected and there are also actors.

The logo projected on the huge screen in the Hall shows an iconic Pixar character, from the first era and the current one: Buzz Lightyear with a baton in his hand.

This is how the public is welcomed at the Teatro Colón, which is about to enjoy

Pixar in concert

.

The company released its first film almost 30 years ago: it was

Toy Story

, in 1995 and it gave way to countless hits and great productions.

Although there were and are other

Pixar concerts

around the world (in Brussels, Paris, Mexico), this one was put together especially for the Teatro Colón.

There is a summary of each of the films - not all of them are there, but almost - and at the same time new songs are interspersed.

"Ratatouille", another of the moments from the first part of the show.

But the highlight, of course, is seeing images of

The Incredibles

,

Finding Nemo

, some of

Toy Story

,

Brave

and

Coco

.

The Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón is back on stage, like last year at

Disney 100 in concert

, and its almost 70 members occupy a good part of the stage, leaving a space in the middle.

The conductor, Ezequiel Silberstein, is on one side, along with the first violinist, Camila Ramírez.

Silberstein is already known to Disney fans: he got his start with

Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert

.

And he tries on the showman suit again, but a calm showman: he interacts with the audience and with characters from Pixar films, such as Edna Moda, from

The Incredibles

, who is the one who goes from the audience to the stage and welcomes the audience.

"Toy Story" has the presence of its first three films.

Very soon, after the fanfare with clips from the films that will later be seen, Sullivan and Mike Wazowski, from

Monsters, Inc. arrive on stage, and the Oscar-winning

If I Hadn't Got You

is heard

- the first of several compositions by Randy Newman that will be heard, and that won the Oscar for best song -: it is the one that instantly wins the hearts of the audience.

The table lamp is projected as a separator, yes, the one that appears in the presentation of each Pixar film, which performs an action and gives an animated indication of what will follow.

And what follows is barbaric: the

Finding Nemo

Suite ,

Le Festin

, from

Ratatouille , the

Cars

Suite

and one of the most emotional moments of the show, with

When She Loved Me

, also by Randy Newman, with Jessie longing for her owner who abandoned her, from

Toy Story 2

.

Mike and Sullivan from "Monsters, Inc."

And the first part of the show is yet to end, with two films that are not among Pixar's most popular:

Luca

and

Valiente

with four pipers included in the scene.

Second part

After the interval, Bob Parr, the father of

The Incredibles

, appears.

He looks much skinnier than in Brad Bird's film.

And after the Suite from the film, comes

Intensely

and

Lava

, from the short film of the same name.

And get ready, because the best is coming.

A dancer arrives from the central aisle of the stalls, with a lot of colored balloons:

Married Life

, from

Up

, is coming .

And what follows is no less good:

I am your faithful friend

, from

Toy Story

, with Woody, Buzz and Jessie on stage, plus the suite from

Toy Story 3

(when the characters are about to be incinerated...).

"Coconut".

From "Remember me" to "A little crazy."

There are performances until Sunday the 25th.

They want more?

Get ready, because not one, not two, but three songs from

Coco

arrive (

Recuérdame

, Oscar winner,

Un poco loco

and

El Latido de mi corazón

).

In all cases, there is a projection over the top of the curtain, and rags are even placed, as in

Coco

, hanging.

Pair

at the end, an instrumental version of

I am your faithful friend

, and

Nobody Like U

, from

Red

.

It is estimated that, with a capacity of 2,000 spectators, 32,000 people will see

Pixar in concert

.

Another success in just 9 days.
