Pm10 beyond the limits, measures are taken in 8 provinces in Lombardy - Infrastructure & Cities

Highlights: First level anti-smog measures will come into force tomorrow in eight out of 12 provinces of Lombardy. Ban on traffic on all days of the week from Monday to Friday in Milan, Como, Bergamo, Brescia, Mantua, Cremona, Lodi and Pavia. There is also a ban on lighting open fires and using wood stoves rated up to three stars. The same measures came into force on January 30th in six provinces in Lombardy, including Milan.

Having passed the fourth day of exceeding the Pm10 limit values, in eight out of 12 provinces of Lombardy the first level anti-smog measures will come into force tomorrow which include, among other things, the ban on the circulation of vehicles up to 1 euro petrol and up to 4 euro diesel in municipalities with over 30 thousand inhabitants.

Furthermore, there is a ban on lighting open fires and using wood stoves rated up to three stars.


    The limitations will come into force in Milan.

Monza, Como, Bergamo, Brescia, Mantua, Cremona, Lodi and Pavia.

The same measures came into force on January 30th in six provinces.
