In the trial surrounding an ammunition affair, the Tübingen regional court has discontinued proceedings against a former commander of the Special Forces Command (KSK) in exchange for a monetary payment.
The responsible chamber announced this on Monday.
Tübingen - The public prosecutor's office and defense had previously accepted a proposal from the court to end the proceedings early by paying 8,000 euros for a charitable purpose.
The public prosecutor's office had accused Brigadier General Markus Kreitmayr of failing to cooperate in criminal proceedings under Section 40 of the Military Penalty Act.
