Wagner troops in Crimea: Russia will probably receive reinforcements from the private army on the peninsula.
But other units are also new.
Dzhankoi – Reinforcements for the Russian army have apparently arrived in Crimea.
Ukrainian partisans posted footage on their Telegram channel on Monday (February 19) that appears to show the arrival of Wagner mercenaries in Dzhankoi on the temporarily occupied peninsula.

Accordingly, the TESH partisans said they had seen that some of the new Russian troops in Dzhankoy bore the “marks of the infamous Wagner PMC.”
In addition, soldiers from the Druid combat medical unit, the 80th separate Arctic brigade, military vehicles from the Arkhangelsk region and representatives of the Komi Republic are said to be newly stationed in Crimea.

Crimea: Important Russian logistics center in Dzhankoj
The Ukrainian underground reports that Dzhankoy has become a key logistics center for Russian occupation forces trying to establish a bridgehead to advance into Ukrainian-held territory.
Despite the Kremlin's reinforcements, the partisans remain optimistic: “Fortunately, our agents are continuing to work and we have already had a number of effective new additions.
But the real success is still to come!” they say.
According to British assessments, Russia recently strengthened its control over the Wagner mercenary force.
The Russian National Guard is integrating three of Wagner's former combat units into its first volunteer corps, the British Ministry of Defense said in January.

Private Army Wagner: Some soldiers probably deployed in Africa
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a requirement on December 25 that the National Guard could set up its own volunteer troops, the British wrote.
The National Guard will probably use them in Ukraine or Africa.
Most recently there were reports from Wagner soldiers in Sudan.
Other Wagner mercenaries switched to the regular army or left the service.
The Wagner mercenary force is a private army that fought alongside regular Russian troops in Ukraine for a long time.
The Wagner Group has been sanctioned by several Western governments for its involvement in Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
In January 2023, the United States designated Wagner as a “significant transnational criminal organization.”
Its leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, launched a short-lived uprising against Russia's leadership in June 2023 and died in a plane crash a few weeks later.
