"Every time I visit the beit midrash that I receive, I am reminded of the words of Rabbi Hanina ben Tardion, who taught Torah openly and was executed by burning wrapped in Torah scrolls. He told them: 'The scrolls will be burned and the letters will flourish.' A year after the destruction, we get to see the 'letters blooming in the air'; to see the Beit Midrash that went up in flames, in its glory, and in the congregation of Adat Yisrael seeking God and His Torah - this is how the brilliant Chief Rabbi Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, president of the 'European Conference of Rabbis', opened his lesson regarding the reference and their status In the halacha of civil marriage with an emphasis on the betrothal blessing before the Rabbis of the Beit Midrash for the Rabbis named after Rabbi Azriel Hildesheimer ztzel in Berlin. He was greeted by the rabbis of the Beit Midrash, the rabbis; Rabbi Yaakov Dov Orshansky, Rabbi Akiva Adlerstein and Rabbi David Granz

. Goldschmidt added that "in all the holy communities that I reach throughout Europe and in Germany, we see a special strengthening since the outbreak of the 'Iron Swords' war. "We are full of satisfaction that there is a great thirst for the Torah here.

And we continue to see every day its development in its foundation and prosperity.

Many are babies who have been taken captive and we have the right and duty to persevere in activities to bring them closer to the Torah and the light in which God will return them to the beneficiary."

The participants offered a prayer to the inhabitants of the Holy Land for the success of the soldiers and the healing of the wounded and the return of the abductees from the terrible captivity.

Rabbi Goldschmidt came to Germany for the campaign to strengthen the communities and to organize a special panel held by the 'Conference of Rabbis of Europe' for the security of the Jewish communities at the security conference in Munich.

The Beit Midrash for Rabbis in Berlin, and the community next to it, were founded nearly one hundred and fifty years ago by the Gaon Rabbi Azriel Hildesheimer, zt'l. During its years of existence, the Beit Midrash trained hundreds of students, many of whom were appointed rabbis and Torah teachers in Israeli communities. The Beit Midrash operated until Kristallnacht.

About fifteen years ago Years ago, at the initiative of Rabbi Goldschmidt, the vice president of the Lauder Foundation, a member of the Conference of Rabbis of Europe, Rabbi Yehoshua Spiner, established the yeshiva, where the Beit Midrash for Rabbis was later opened in Berlin as a legacy and the tradition of the Beit Midrash as before. Since its re-foundation, the Beit Midrash has produced dozens of rabbinic graduates Those officiating in the sanctuary in German and European communities.

The Beit Midrash was presided over by the Gaon Rabbi Hanoch HaCohen Arntroy, Rabbi of the London Court and Gab'd of Europe, zt'al, and currently serves as the president of the Beit Midrash, the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Farbstein, head of the Hebron yeshiva, who often comes to the Beit Midrash to give lessons on the issues taught and Halacha, and to direct the rabbis' flowers , the examiner and confirmer, and at the same time also delivers his lessons from afar as a moderator.

"Khal Adat Yisrael" next to the "Beit Midrash for Rabbis" in central Berlin, is housed in the building of a synagogue 'Beit Zion' whose skeleton survived the night of Kristallnacht and has been restored with spectacular authenticity through a single photograph of the interior that survived a huge investment By Mr. Ronald Lauder. The community and Beit Midrash form the center of the ultra-Orthodox community in Berlin, mainly following the immigration of many former Soviet Union Jews to Germany in general and Berlin in particular, where they got closer to their roots and it was necessary to establish and establish an ultra-Orthodox community in the dedicated way. Rabbi David serves as the rabbi of the community. Roberts is a member of the Standing Committee of the 'Conference of Rabbis of Europe'.

Since then, the community has expanded, and along with education, kindergartens where about one hundred and twenty children attend, and a school where hundreds of children and boys are educated in the Israel Saba way. It operates the Kirov organization - a Jewish experience that operates throughout Germany a system of learning in fellowship and classes by expert teams, most of whom are graduates of the Rabbinical Beit Midrash and includes Abrach 'Beit Zion'.
