Tragic accident this Monday morning on the A13 motorway, where three people lost their lives.
The victims were all in the same vehicle in the company of a fourth person, taken care of by the Samu teams.
When emergency services arrived, shortly before 5:30 a.m., the car, clearly the only one involved, had overturned and was on its roof, at the entrance to the Saint-Cloud tunnel, in the Paris-Province direction.
Traffic was very disrupted all morning, with two of the three lanes of the highway closed to traffic.
Major traffic difficulties were observed in particular between the exit of the Saint-Cloud tunnel and the Porte d'Auteuil.
In a press release, Prefect Laurent Hottiaux presents his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
He also thanks all the rescue teams and security forces mobilized around this accident.
It also renews its caution and road safety instructions.

It has been several years since the Hauts-de-Seine department had experienced such a deadly road accident.

The driver of the car in which five people were traveling lost control in a roundabout before hitting a tree head-on.
Last year, 17 people lost their lives on the department's roads, according to the latest figures from the Île-de-France Regional Road Safety Observatory, compared to 16 in 2022: seven motorcyclists, four motorists and as many cyclists, and two pedestrians.
