The 24-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in a collision with the Saint-Denis municipal police is recovering after his operation this weekend at Beaujon hospital in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine).
Saturday around 1 a.m., he violently collided with a municipal police crew at 60, avenue de Stalingrad, in the Allende district.

But a very long convalescence awaits him.

According to the police, the motorcyclist was on the same lane as theirs, and was “facing their vehicle” before they collided on the avenue.
No camera at this specific location
The young man was “doing wheelies” when he lost control of his motorcycle, specifies a source close to the case who adds: “There was no chase”.

On the contrary, the witnesses who gave “circumstantial” accounts explained that the police officers who wanted to intercept the motorcyclist “voluntarily cut him off”, causing him to fall.
