All good things come in threes.

After Dießen and Utting, Schondorf also demonstrated impressively for diversity and against hatred and incitement from the right-wing radical camp.

Schondorf – According to the police count, 1,800 people peacefully raised their voices for democracy and took a position “against the glorification and glorification of National Socialism.”

Especially in Schondorf there is a special connection to this, says Landheim Foundation Director Rüdiger Häusler.

Landheim high school graduate Christoph Probst, a member of the “White Rose” resistance group and author of a leaflet, was executed on February 22, 1943 along with Sophie and Hans Scholl.

According to organizer Sabine Pittroff, it is all the more perverse when the AFD patrols the streets together with neo-Nazis and white roses.

The protest motto “Never again is now” is more relevant than ever.

Pittroff had brought together almost twenty institutions and associations for the broad Schondorf alliance against right-wing radicalism.

From the meeting point at the train station we went down to the lake complex, where the final rally with speeches took place.

Among other things, sociologist Bea and anti-fascist Bertl remembered the Hanau attack victims in 2020. Monika Drasch, who likes to pack political messages in her music, sang quotes about dignity and equality from the Bavarian constitution.
