The spring weather in Germany is over again: the rain is coming at the start of the week, and there is even snow in the mountains.
Munich - If you've already got your bike ready for spring, put away your rain gear and got your picnic blanket out of the basement, you'll have to change again for the next time: Spring only visited Germany for a short time.
At the beginning of the week it will be rainy and cooler.
According to weather forecasts, there is even snow in sight.
And nothing is expected to change until the start of spring on March 1st: it will remain rainy and cool.

reports, the rain depression Simone has spread to the north and west, and deep Talisa and Ute are already approaching from the North Atlantic.
Accordingly, depending on the weather model, rainfall amounts of ten to 30, or even 30 to 60 liters of rain per square meter are possible, and in the Black Forest sometimes even up to 100 liters per square meter.
Weather in Germany: DWD predicts cool temperatures, rain and some snow for the week
These are the forecasts from the German Weather Service (DWD) for the next few days in detail:
Monday: Temperatures between eight and 14 degrees during the day, mostly cloudy but dry in the morning.
Only in the northwest and west will there be another showery rain in the afternoon.
At night the temperatures drop to seven to two degrees, it can rain like a shower, and snow is possible above 1000 meters.
Tuesday: Partly gusty winds in the north and east, temperatures between eight and 13 degrees, occasional rain or drizzle.
Cloudy at night and cooling temperatures to four degrees.
Wednesday: South of the Black Forest and Upper Palatinate Forest, fog in the morning, then sunny.
Very cloudy in the rest of Germany, rain especially in the evening on the western border.
At night wind and cooling down to three degrees, stiff gusts in some areas, storm in the mountains.
Thursday: Heavy clouds, occasional rain.
Dry for longer only in the southeast, temperatures between nine and 15 degrees, with moderate wind or stiff gusts in the west and southwest.
Friday: On Friday night the snowfall limit drops to 500 to 700 meters according to the DWD.
The experts at

are talking about a “drop in temperature” on Friday and possible snowflakes even in the lowlands during the day.
Weekend: The DWD is not yet providing any information for the weekend.

Spring weather in Germany: March probably milder again
And what happens next in the medium term?
Meteorologist Dominik Jung does not predict any major temperature deviations in March, such as another cold snap or summer weather.
According to him, a mild spring can be expected.
According to Jung, the temperatures in March should also be above the average of previous years - and thus make the rapidly advancing climate change noticeable in everyday life.
Jung nevertheless restricts: “I hardly believe that things will continue for eight or nine weeks with just warmth, warmth, warmth.
