Thousands of Mexico City Jews welcomed the Rebbe Rabbi Yosiah Pinto - the leader of the "Shuba Yisrael" community who came for a special visit.
Rabbi Pinto toured the synagogues in the various communities, met with rabbis and heads of the communities, politicians, government officials and businessmen.

"The Jewish community in Mexico City is one of the most special communities in all of America," said Rabbi Pinto, "Under the leadership of the important rabbis, a generation of Torah and reverence will be built here. People who sanctify heaven there."
He referred to the security situation in Israel and the massacre carried out by Hamas terrorists on October 7, according to him, "'All Israel is bound to each other', if the Jews of the Land of Israel are in sorrow and trouble, then we too here and everywhere else in the world - should be sorry," he added.
According to Rabbi Pinto, "The whole world is going through upheavals. In security, in livelihood, in health, in everything. The Holy One, blessed be He, is reordering the world, in preparation for the coming of the Messiah. Therefore, whoever now grasps himself and becomes stronger, and draws closer to God and abounds in light and free love - he He will be truly redeemed."
In the strengthening campaign in Mexico City, El Rabbi Pinto was accompanied by his brother Rabbi Menachem Pinto, who for many years accompanies the "Shuba Israel" institutions.
During his stay in Mexico City, Rabbi Pinto met with the president of the "Mount Sinai" community - the Syrian community, Alberto Kitzik and his deputy Salvador Daniel.
He also met with the businessman Max El Man Arazi and the businessmen from the Atiya family.

Rabbi Pinto also met with Rabbi Shlomo Tawil and Rabbi Elharar, and with the singer Moshe Peretz who was staying there for a tour of performances in the Jewish communities.
Also, during the reinforcement campaign there was a warm and cordial meeting between the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto and Paco Cervantes - President of the Business Coordination Committee in the Government of Mexico, who greatly respected and appreciated the desire for cooperation for the sake of the Jews of Mexico.
In addition, many Torah lessons were held and Rabbi Pinto received a large audience for blessing, advice and life guidance.
From Mexico, Rabbi Pinto landed in Miami, where he is staying these days, while giving classes in the midrash houses of "Shuba Israel" scattered throughout Florida.
