Britain's Telis Energy aims to develop 3GW of hybrid and energy storage projects through its subsidiary Telis Energy Italy by 2030.
Launched in November 2022 with the support of global investment firm Carlyle, Telis aims to deliver 10GW of projects across Europe by 2030 through its subsidiary companies, active in individual markets.
The latter "benefit - explains the group - from the dimension and synergies deriving from belonging to an international platform, local knowledge and networks, as well as sectoral skills and an entrepreneurial approach".
Telis Energy Italy is led by Marco Petrone, who underlines how the company has already developed "over 1000 MWh of standalone Bess (battery storage systems) projects and over 100 MWp of hybrid photovoltaic projects in specific Italian regions, after a detailed evaluation of the network and connection points and an accurate screening of the land, selected to minimize the risk".
