On the seventh of October, the arms of the state "missed" the ground entry of Hamas terrorists into Israeli territory, creating one of the greatest tragedies the country has ever known. Four months later, and the state continues to "miss out" in wanting to rehabilitate the same area, just because of marking an imaginary line that crosses the Western Negev in a negligent manner

One of the things that so characterizes the current government is lack of order and logic.

It begins with a phone call that the prime minister does not receive on the night of Shabbat in October, and continues to this day in an attempt to restore the same area that the state neglected on that cursed bloody Shabbat.

The state decided not to include the city of Netivot in the Takuma administration, which aims to rehabilitate the Western Negev region after the Sheva failure in October.

The municipality of Netivot decided to submit, and rightly so, to the High Court of Justice against the arbitrary decision, which lacks logic and reason. In order to understand the magnitude of the default 2.0, two things are required of us: one, to look at the map

Looking at the map of the Western Negev, it can be seen that Nitiv is the largest city in the region, which is part of the Gaza Strip.

It is not "adjacent" to the Gaza Strip, it is literally a part of it.

We have completed one simple operation.

The second action - to think logically - seems like an action that is very challenging for the Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister.

If this city is the "capital of the Western Negev", then how can the whole area be restored, but not it?

After all, if we are dealing with the issue of employment - where will the employment places of those settlements be developed?

If on the subject of services of government offices, where will those services be developed?

On the seventh of October, Netivot's urban security unit, called "Ofek", prevented terrorists from entering the city and surrounding settlements with strength and courage.

This unit is funded by the residents of the city with a fixed monthly fee.

Not by the state.

The same battles were fought by "Ofek" fighters, with short guns, because the state did not approve the purchase (from the municipality's funds) of long weapons.

Only a week after the oath failure in October, the state approved the purchase of long weapons.

Of course from the municipality's funds.

How can the entire area be rehabilitated except for Netivot?/Photo processing, Photo: Ziv Reinstein, Studio Walla!

I refrain from talking about the separation that the state made between the residents of the settlements adjacent to Netivot, and the residents of Netivot Hagibor who did not receive the same support as the residents of Sderot, our neighbors and our dear friends.

88 families from Kibbutz Ein HaSholosh make their home in Netivot, because it is the closest city to their Kibbutz.

Netivot Municipality takes care of them for a comfortable and pleasant reception, because the state cannot be trusted to do this.

More than 100 families from Sderot moved to Netivot.

More than 200 new students have been accepted in the city, and the demand is only increasing.

The municipality asked the Ministry of Education for assistance with standards and other things in order to take in those evacuees, but this was also not granted.

If anyone needed any more proof of how bad this government is, I think the above shows it.

It's time for the government to wake up, or change.

We, the residents of Netivot, cannot tolerate this anymore.
