César Antonio Butara
, a well-known merchant from the Buenos Aires district of
Ramallo
, was murdered this Monday with
a shot to the chest by criminals
who entered his house to rob.
The victim tried to avoid the robbery at his home located on 2200 Miter Avenue and
pounced on one of the thieves
, causing the criminal to take out a firearm and shoot him.
According to police sources,
the man died instantly
and his wife had to be assisted by doctors due to
shock
.
At the time of escape, two thieves took a motorcycle belonging to the couple's son and cash:
around one million pesos and 700 dollars.
Arrested for the crime of the merchant in Ramallo
The homicide is investigated by prosecutor Verónica Marcantonio, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 1 of San Nicolás.
The magistrate ordered different raids in the area and
they managed to locate the stolen vehicle
, in addition to arresting at least
four suspects.
