After almost two years of investigation,
Valérie Benaïm
recently published her book
He is not the one you think: these women in love with serial killers
published by Fayard.
In the same way as any investigative work, the words of experts and witnesses intersect throughout the book.
And if the journalist was not specialized in news stories, the click happened while she was monitoring the news channels.

“I heard a journalist mention the Nordal Lelandais affair and the irruption, into this matter, of a woman in love with him who allegedly passed him drugs and alcohol. From then on, I never stopped asking myself questions about this phenomenon
,” she explains on the set of “Buzz TV” this Tuesday, February 20.
In parallel with this literary news, Valérie Benaïm accumulates projects.
She presents on C8 a program devoted to books entitled
Droits d'auteur
with among others Ken Follett and Éric Emmanuel Schmitt for its premiere, Joël Dicker is one of the next ones.
She also continues her activity alongside Cyril Hanouna.
In addition to her presence as a columnist in “Touche pas à mon poste” during the week, she adds to her arc the new show “Face à Hanouna” broadcast on Saturday and Sunday evenings on C8.
Even before the program was on the air, criticism was already emerging on social networks.
Some Internet users and media deplore a plateau leaning much to the right by the presence, for example, of the National Rally deputy Julien Odoul and the influencer Carla Bahia-Stendhal.
“It’s funny this hemiplegia of those who comment on “TPMP” because they talk about Carla Bahia or Julien Odoul but they forget to cite Gilles Verdez or Rost for example.
There is a form of hemiplegia when we talk about “TPMP” which is quite unpleasant
,” Valérie Benaïm is surprised before adding that in her opinion, it is truly a question of relentlessness.
“I believe that we are particularly scrutinized and that there is a desire to have TPMP and Cyril Hanouna so I am simply asking for objectivity.
