What's behind it?
Kim Virginia from Mannheim made the most headlines in the 2024 jungle camp and divided opinions among viewers.
Her behavior in the camp was also the most discussed topic in the jungle camp aftermath, which was broadcast on February 18th.

Aftermath from the jungle camp – spectators find Kim Virginia was bullied
In the aftermath of the 2024 jungle camp, the events of this year's IBES relay were discussed with all prominent participants.
What's particularly striking is that although Lucy Diakovska won the jungle crown, most of the conversation revolved around Kim Virginia.
Kim's behavior in the camp was polarizing and inappropriate in many places, but many viewers believe that she was treated unfairly in the external portrayal by both RTL and the moderators Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen.
Countless users comment on this under several Instagram posts from IBES itself, from Kim Virginia and from Leyla Lahouar.

For example, one user writes: “Bullying against Kim?
RTL and everyone else: Jaaaaaaa”.
Another says: "It's crazy how these almost 3 hours were only used to make Kim look really bad and it obviously doesn't matter at all to bully her and also criticize her clothing style." There is also a heated discussion on social media whether Mike Heiter and Leyla Lahouar are now a couple.
In fact, it is noticeable that the moderators mostly had a negative tone towards Kim Virginia, and even when she was not involved in the conversation, they cracked an extraordinary number of jokes at her expense.
For example, her choice of clothing on the first day and at the after-party of the jungle camp was made fun of.

At the jungle camp aftermath - Felix von Jascheroff is said to have made slut-shaming comments against Kim
Kim's companion in the jungle, her shaman Leon, also shares his opinion about the jungle camp aftermath on Instagram: "This is bullying, people." He further emphasizes that the moderators and especially Sonja Zietlow lacked any objectivity and even so seemed like she had a personal problem with Kim.
The shaman also reveals that the argument between Kim and Felix was also edited to Kim's disadvantage.
Because according to Leon, Felix is said to have told Kim that she “puts everything in her mouth anyway”.
In the end, however, only Kim's “Ah, now let's start with slut-shaming” was included in the show.
The Mannheimer herself only has this to say about the aftermath: “Love me or hate me.

She now wants to leave the jungle camp chapter behind her and focus on her career - Kim Virginia even recently quit her job specifically for this purpose.
