As a rule, we visit the quiet place several times a day.
But what do you do if this has been occupied for months?
A woman from Australia has been living with this for a year.
If you have a full bladder, nothing helps - you urgently need to go to the toilet.
When Louise Drolz wants to pursue her urges, she finds a strange guest.
A wild frog has made itself comfortable in the bowl and seems to be feeling really good.
The Australian announced this on her Facebook page of the same name.
A snake has even made its home in Thailand.
Normally, frogs prefer to live in still lakes, in mountain streams, in trees or underground.
But in a toilet?

Stanley has lived there for over a year
How did this happen and how did Louise react?
“My house is on the Sydney harbor shore, surrounded by coastal rainforest.
We often find frogs hopping around there.
Stanley (that's what she named him) probably wandered into the bathroom and hopped into the toilet when the lid was up.
He probably thought this was the perfect place to protect himself from predators,” she tells
The Dodo
.
From there he has access to the pipe system below him and gets into the sewers, where he can find enough food.
It is said to be “swarming with insects”.

Despite multiple attempts to relocate him, Stanley remains adamant about his home.
“He always comes back.
He probably thinks he’s safer there than in the garden,” explains Louise.
She also ensures that the amphibian is never trapped.
By the way, frogs are on the menu of everything from hedgehogs, martens, foxes, otters and herons to storks and owls.
What does the animal-loving woman do when she has to go potty herself?
There are several toilets in her house.
She doesn't necessarily have to use Stanleys.
She also lowered the water level to make it easier for him to jump out.
However, he has not done this yet.

Facebook users have questions
As soon as the post was online on Facebook, the first comments appeared.
The users are quite divided.
Some are particularly afraid or disgusted by spiders, frogs or snakes, others find the situation strange and some ask them to put him outside.
“What happens if you flush?” Answer: “I don’t know.
I wash up, he leaves, he comes back a few hours later.
I have several toilets.
This one isn't used much, maybe that's why he made it his home."
“Please find him a new home.”
“It can’t possibly be a good life for him.”
“Now that’s a joke, isn’t it?
“You’re not going to pee on him?”
“He’s been living there for a year?
He looks well-fed."
“Don’t let the frog kiss you, he’s not a prince!”
It is questionable whether the frog actually feels comfortable.
This is supported by the fact that he was taken outside several times but always returned.
He seems to find enough food in the sewers.
And so Louise is okay with Stanley living with her.
She calls the toilet "his little private pond" and thinks it's a kind of refuge that she's happy to offer him.
