However, the selection of restaurants for the lunch break was pretty manageable - until now.

At the opening of “Skygate Food” in Hallbergmoos, Andreas Wißmeir, managing director of the real estate company Rock Capital, had something much more amusing to offer than “heavenly enjoyment” or whatever other word players would suggest at a restaurant called Skygate Food.
He wished operators and guests “Toi, toi, toi and always a noodle on the plate.”
New place to go for your lunch break
Skygate Food is located in the Skygate building complex - in the Munich Airport Business Park, the industrial park in the north of Hallbergmoos.
The 7,500 employees there have so far had a fairly limited choice during their lunch break: a small Italian restaurant and the airport business center casino are within walking distance, as well as a few discount stores around the corner.
That's why Mayor Josef Niedermair was pleased that there was now a "new lunch location" in the middle of the so-called "New Science Center".
The restaurant can be booked for any occasion, including club celebrations or weddings, for groups of 25 to 200 people, with or without catering - of course also for the Hallbergmoos population.
During the week, meals are served between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on almost 500 square meters on the third floor of the Skygate office building.
The managing directors Sevim Gül and Josef Ratzesberger are responsible.
The latter is not only a grand master in Taekwondo, but also well-known in the gastronomy scene: he has been in the business for three decades, 16 of which were the trained master chef as the innkeeper of Kreitmair at Gut Keferloh.
He has also been managing the Finsinger Alm for five years. Ratzesberger and his business partner Gül will continue to play an important role at the Rock Capital Group, owner of the Skygate, the Hybrid One and other commercial properties in the greater Munich area: their team will provide them with supplies in the future for the real estate agency also the HEADS in Aschheim-Dornach.
“The catering concept convinced us,” says Andreas Wißmeier from Rock Capital.
Rooftop terraces for warm summer evenings
How the concept is implemented in the Skygate Food Restaurant was shown at the press event: fresh pasta every day, wok dishes with three different sauces of your choice, with meat or vegetarian, seasonal dishes, fresh fruit juices.
Of course, breakfast, the meat loaf and the meat patties are not missing from the menu.
“Everything is high quality and at moderate prices,” as Ratzesberger emphasizes.
In the warmer seasons, people also want to use the two rooftop terraces on warm summer evenings: for events and barbecues with meat and fish, for “beer after four” or other events.
But that is still a bit of a thing of the future.
One thing is important to the operators: that the noodle is on the plate within five to seven minutes.
