Pop singer Wencke Myhre has been on stage for 70 years.

Now she spoke about when she will end her impressive career.

Berlin – The fans of Wencke Myhre (77) certainly hope that the popular Norwegian pop singer will stay with them for a while, despite her advanced age.

But what plans does the musician have, whose best-known hits like “He has a bright red rubber boat” and “He stands in the goal” most people have probably already heard?

She spoke about the end of her career in the “Schlagerplanet Radio” podcast.

Wencke Myhre: She had to suffer a lot in terms of her health

Wencke Myhre, who has just expressed criticism of today's hit industry, looks back on an eventful life that was also marked by health problems.

The mother of four children and grandmother of ten grandchildren announced in 2010 that she had breast cancer.

She had to cancel all appointments at the time and made her suffering public in order to encourage other women in the same situation.

Wencke, who was married three times, even received the Federal Cross of Merit from Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (68) for her positive, public approach to the situation.

And the 77-year-old also has two new hips.

“I danced so much,” the musician and actress reported humorously in the podcast with “Schlagerplanet Radio” presenters Anika Reichel and Julian David.

“Listen to my body”: Wencke Myhre wants to continue making music for as long as possible

When asked that she was otherwise very fit and that there was no need to worry about her ending her career, Wencke Myhre said that she would continue as long as she remained curious, her health allowed it and the audience followed her ask.

“I listen to my body and I listen to the audience,” explained the musician and actress.

Of course, the head also has to participate.

But presenter Anika Reichel immediately stated: “Everything still seems to be in harmony.”

Even though Wencke Myhre has already had serious illnesses, she seems to be doing relatively well for her age at the moment.

When she woke up in the morning she was sometimes a little stiff, but after a cup of coffee she was fine again, she reported.

Let's hope for herself and the fans that she stays well for a long time.

Will the wedding bells soon ring for pop stars Stefan Mross and Eva Luginger?
