On Saturday there was a lot on offer at prime time: the finale of “Das Supertalent” was shown on RTL, while on ARD some celebrities puzzled over an XXL edition of “Who knows something like that?”
But who will win the ratings?
Cologne/Berlin – Saturday evening (February 17th) had a lot of entertainment in store for TV viewers – in a variety of forms.
The winner was chosen in the RTL show “Das Supertalent” around jury chief Dieter Bohlen (70).
On ARD, however, celebrity guests such as Felix Lobrecht (35), Christian Sievers (55), Ingo Zamperoni (49) and Katja Riemann (60) quizzed with host Kai Pflaume (56).

Dieter Bohlen against Kai Pflaume: Will “Das Supertalent” beat “Who knows something like that?” in the ratings duel?
For the first time, “Das Supertalent” finale was not live.
It was already clear that opera singer Alexander Doghmani (17) would be chosen as the winner - but after the broadcast, the "Supertalent" winner caused criticism online.
In “Who knows something like that?”, actor Sebastian Koch (61) won 50,000 euros for a good cause alongside Bernhard Hoëcker (53).
There is also a clear winner in the ratings duel – namely ARD with “Who knows something like that?”
As can be seen from the
DWDL
figures center, the quiz show with Kai Pflaume attracted 5.04 million viewers (21.5 percent) of the total audience.
The finale of “Das Supertalent”, however, was only seen by 2.13 million households (8.8 percent).
Even with the younger audience, the casting show around pop titan Dieter Bohlen failed to score points.
With 0.58 million viewers (11.7 percent), the RTL show is behind ARD even among 14 to 49 year olds.
“Who knows something like that?” attracted 0.93 million viewers (19.4 percent).
Neither “Das Supertalent” nor “Who knows something like that?”: ZDF takes the day’s victory
However, a completely different broadcaster emerged as the winner of the day: ZDF.
The crime thriller “Ostfriesenschwur” was shown there at 8:15 p.m.
6.05 million viewers tuned in, which equates to a share of 23.8 percent of the total audience.
For younger audiences, however, “Who knows something like that?” is the primetime winner.

It remains to be seen whether Dieter Bohlen will have more success in terms of ratings with the new DSDS season.
But just like “Das Supertalent”, the cult casting show is facing some changes.
Among other things, DSDS will be radically shortened in 2024.
