The fees for daycare centers in Brunnthal will probably increase in the foreseeable future.
How much has not yet been determined.
Brunnthal
- As can be seen from the meeting template for the local council meeting on Wednesday, February 21st, the “parental fees are to be increased slightly due to the very high voluntary subsidy of one million euros from the community of Brunnthal - just as has already been done in some cases in other communities still will be”.
Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, Taufkirchen and Feldkirchen have already decided on increases, and Hohenbrunn and Aying are also planning them.
The last fee increase in Brunnthal took place in September 2022, an increase of four percent compared to 2018.
Personnel costs are particularly important
Childcare is financed in part by the Free State, the municipality (with a compulsory share equal to the state funding plus voluntary funding) and the parents' contributions.
According to the meeting proposal, public funding would be increased regularly, but this could not compensate for the actual increase in costs.
Personnel costs are an essential component.
Costs for “energy, water, waste and consumables” have also increased.
An information event with the parent councils of the daycare centers is scheduled to take place at the end of this month.
