A 52-year-old Ukrainian woman is currently facing charges in the Munich district court.

A year ago, the woman stabbed a 54-year-old man from Dachau, with whom she had been living, with a kitchen knife.

Finally, witnesses vividly described the scene at the crime scene.

Dachau/Munich

– When Olena K. (52) completely freaked out and screamed around on a February evening last year, the neighbors in an apartment building in Dachau didn't suspect anything bad.

But then the emergency doctor, police and paramedics suddenly arrive.

Fifteen minutes later, her neighbor Jürgen F. (54) is dead. Olena K. stabbed him with a kitchen knife.

On Monday, the treating emergency doctor (52) described the oppressive scene in the trial before the Munich II Regional Court.

When he arrived at the small apartment, Jürgen F. was still standing in the kitchen.

There was blood everywhere.

"He was gasping for air, saying 'air, air, no air,' over and over again," the emergency room doctor recalled.

A minute later, Jürgen F. collapsed. The doctor was unable to keep him alive.

The 54-year-old had lost too much blood.

The emergency doctor first stopped the bleeding with meter-long gauze compresses, then resuscitated and intubated.

Because Olena K. hit a vein that cannot be replaced, there was simply no longer enough blood in the circulatory system to save the 54-year-old.

The accused Ukrainian, who had had a casual, short-term relationship with the German many years ago and was now putting more than strain on his good nature, almost cried at the doctor's description.

From her point of view, she had just brandished the knife and lost her best supporter in the process.

He had been too soft to throw her out of the apartment or too afraid to touch her hard.

He once told a neighbor he knew from walking the dog: “I have brought the devil into my house.”

On the day of his death, he wanted to finally drive Olena K. away with the help of his ex-wife and his son.

This led to the devastating attack.

Other witnesses should confirm that Jürgen F. did not somehow fall into the knife, but rather became a victim of Olena's recurring aggression.

The process is ongoing.
