Before the building committee, the investor duo Johannes Rabl/Manuel Neuer failed with their request for a technical shed for the Valepp forestry house.

But the district office will approve the construction.

Valepp – Even though they have long since held their building permit and things have calmed down, the investor duo Johannes Rabl and Manuel Neuer can still be assured of critical observation in the renovation of the Valepp forestry lodge.

This recently became clear in the committee meetings in Schliersee.

Initially, the building committee refused to give its consent to the construction of a so-called technical shed and in the course of this asked the district office whether, given the construction of a ventilation shed, the expansion of the company would gradually exceed the 30 percent mark, which is generally the acceptable maximum for such outdoor measures is set.

Green local council smells salami tactics

Gerhard Waas (Greens) was displeased that this was not the first time that further building applications had come that went beyond the actual forester's lodge and the new building with a warehouse, kitchen and a guest room.

There was an accusation of salami tactics.

However, Mayor Franz Schnitzenbaumer (CSU) had previously confirmed that “everything up there happens in consultation with the district office”.

The wooden structure was already in place during consultation

That's probably why the technical shed was already in place when the building committee discussed it.

It will accommodate an existing Bayernwerk transformer house, heat pumps and firewood.

The district office has now informed the Schliersee town hall that it will replace the community agreement.

In other words: approve the building application against the will of the building committee.

Schnitzenbaumer has now informed the committee of this.

The authority's argument: Due to its size and placement, the wooden structure is more tolerable than a shorter but wider variant that Schliersee might have agreed to.

Ensemble protection comes later

“We stand by our position,” said Schnitzenbaumer.

“But we won’t complain.” The review of the size of the expansion also turned out to be in favor of Rabl and Neuer.

Since the Jägerhäusl, which is a few meters further away, is also part of the ensemble, the “permissible size under building planning law will not be exceeded,” according to our newspaper’s request.

The ensemble protection for the forester's lodge, which the local council has initiated (we reported), is far from effective.

It must first go through the building law process.

Rabl would like to inform the local council on site

Also upon request, Rabl said that he would like to inform the local council on site in the spring about the progress of the work.

Gaining a little trust again probably can't hurt.

As is well known, the hotelier, together with Neuer, would like to breathe new life into the Forsthaus, as a classic mountain inn with appropriate cuisine and a manageable amount of overnight accommodation (28 beds).

Use in winter is not intended.

For this purpose, the Free State, as owner, is handing over the forester's house to the investor duo - the ensemble also includes the Maria Hilf chapel a little further and the Klausenhaus next to it - for 99 years on a leasehold model.
