They are an essential part of the success of “Let's Dance”: The jury trio Jorge González, Motsi Mabuse and Joachim Llambi has been evaluating the celebrities since 2013.

Now they are even revealing details about their contracts.

Cologne – On Friday (February 23rd) the time has finally come: “Let's Dance” is entering a new round.

In addition to 14 new celebrities and some well-known dance professionals, RTL viewers can also look forward to Jorge González (56), Motsi Mabuse (42) and Joachim Llambi (59).

While the latter has been there since the beginning in 2006, Motsi joined in 2011 and Jorge in 2013.

Since then, the trio has been an integral part of the show - and now even provides insight into the contracts.

“Vote of trust from RTL”: “Let’s Dance” jury will remain in place for “several years”.

While there is outrage over the absence of some “Let's Dance” veterans in the ranks of professional dancers, at least the jury remains a constant.

As Jorge, Motsi and Llambi themselves now reveal to the

, nothing will change for the time being.

“Last year we extended the current contract early for several years,” Jorge González confirms some previous speculation.

Such a step is “a real sign of trust from RTL” towards the three jurors.

“The jury will continue to work together for a while,” emphasizes Joachim Llambi.

In other shows, however, things are completely different.

In DSDS or “Das Supertalent” the jurors are changed again and again.

Inga Leschek, RTL program manager, also knows how special the consistency of the “Let’s Dance” jury is.

She even speaks of the “longest” serving “jury of an entertainment show in the world”.

“Let's Dance” jurors Jorge González, Motsi Mabuse and Joachim Llambi benefit from their differences

But what is your recipe for success?

“Although our characters are very different, we are still a unit,” says Joachim Llambi.

After all, they all come from different places.

Jorge explains: “Motsi and Mr. Llambi danced themselves – I was never a dance professional myself.

Motsi still has the dancer in him, Mr. Llambi the judge.

These are different requirements.” Llambi sees his qualities in a completely different place.

“I would like to object.

I'm actually the funniest, you just don't see it on camera.

“I do most of the nonsense in the back,” he intervenes.

Jorge's extraordinary looks have also become cult.

Llambi can't resist saying something about this too.

“If I knew beforehand, I might not come at all!

“Sometimes I’m literally frightened when he comes out of his dressing room,” jokes the 59-year-old.

One of the participants this year is “Bergdoktor” star Mark Keller – and he has already banned his sons from “Let’s Dance”.
