The 2024 edition of the Mobile World Congress will open next Monday.
The Barcelona fair dedicated to consumer technology will showcase new smartphones and accessories, as well as computers and all the possible interactions in these of artificial intelligence.
Among the protagonists already confirmed is Lenovo, which could bring a "transparent" computer prototype to the Iberian event.
The informant Evan Blass has leaked an alleged presentation image showing two Lenovo products, one of which with a transparent screen and keyboard, i.e. capable of showing the internal components.
If necessary, the user would see the keys to press in traditional applications and video games appear on the keyboard.
The same operation of the panel which, when turned off, becomes a transparent display, capable of displaying contents only when necessary.
At the beginning of February, the WindowsReport website also wrote about the curious prototype and published some photos dedicated to the press.
As Blass points out, an announcement in Barcelona does not necessarily precede an actual arrival on the market.
Last year, Lenovo showed a laptop with a rollable display, which at the press of a button extended the surface from 12.7 to 15.3 inches, expanding the portion of usable area.
Since then, the product has never been made official, remaining a technological experiment.
At the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas in January, LG announced a transparent Signature T television that is expected to be released by the end of 2024.
