On video: Documentation of the release of the ten Israeli abductees as part of the sixth strike 11/29/23/El Cairo
"We receive uncompromising support from the general public, but there is a campaign against the families of the abductees, it is hurtful and insulting," said this morning Einav Tsengauker, the mother of the abductee Matan Tsengauker, on the Sheva-Nine show with Udi Segal and Anat Davidov on radio 103FM.
"Matan, like many abductees, was abducted from his bed, barefoot and in his pajamas. I shout his cry that cannot be heard from the depths of the tunnels. I feel like I am a burden, preventing people from returning to routine and work, making them sad and adding to their worries. Especially since the decision-makers are not doing everything in their power to Bring Matan home. I say to the government - the October 7 failure happened on your shift - you have to pay any price to bring Matan home."

Einav is frustrated by the double messages sent to the families of the abductees from government officials, "We are told that we cannot pay any price. If this is the case, that the decision-makers will be respectful and inform us, 'We are sorry, but Matan and the other abductees must be sacrificed.'" In simple Hebrew, on the table, then I will face the consequences of this statement. But they cannot tell us that everything is being done, efforts are being made and there are negotiations, but to tell me 'stay at home - your every conversation, your every talk in the public sphere about Matan and the abductees raises the price'.
I lived in the suburbs, in the city of Ofakim, I always voted for the right-wing camp, and also for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and now I'm being abducted outside for being from the right-wing camp and I even dare to go against the prime minister."
She is involved in the fight for its restoration in the most complete way.

About Matan's partner, Ilana Jarichevski, who was released from Hamas captivity, Einav says that she was separated from Matan at the very moment of the kidnapping.
"She didn't see Matan for the entire 55 days, she didn't know how to tell anything. We are in close contact, we sometimes share the same apartment, we talk all day, meet a lot. She is fully involved in the fight for his return, I have never seen such devotion of a partner. This has difficult mental consequences, but Ilana is strong, a hero, a lioness, a fighter. I am proud that she is Matan's partner and he will be proud of her when he comes out. A young couple, their whole lives were ahead of them. We never thought in our nightmares that it would come to such a failure , but we do not lose hope. The month of Ramadan is approaching and this is a one-time opportunity. The State of Israel needs to use all the pressure levers it has with the help of the mediators and also reach a deal, so that the abductees will return home."
