In five years at the latest, the Sparkasse wants to move its Wolfratshausen headquarters to the commercial area.
A new advice center is planned.
Wolfratshausen – Sparkasse Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen was looking for a new location in Loisachstadt for a long time.
Now the cat is out of the bag.
According to a press release, the financial institution has purchased a property measuring around 4,400 square meters at Pfaffenrieder Straße 5, on the site of the closed drug manufacturer Haupt Pharma.
An advice center is expected to open there in five years at the latest.

“We are very happy that we have found a suitable location,” says savings bank spokesman Thomas Bundschuh to our newspaper.
The year-long search has finally come to an end in the Wolfratshausen industrial area.
Renate Waßmer, CEO of Sparkasse Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, is pleased that “we were able to acquire a suitable building plot for our planned new building”.
She sees this as “a clear commitment to the Wolfratshausen location”.

Just a few days ago, the Sparkasse inaugurated the modernized advice center at the Sauerlacher Straße location.
As reported, almost one million euros went into converting the business premises from the 1970s.
Still a worthwhile investment for Bundschuh.
“The building will remain our central branch until we move into the new building.” In addition, “many renovations have already been planned so that we can move to the new location later.”
The Sparkasse doesn't want to completely leave the centrally located building on Sauerlacher Strasse.
Bundschuh assures: “A service branch will remain – including employees.” This guarantees customer proximity despite a move to the commercial area.

The area in question on Pfaffenrieder Straße has been used to produce and develop pharmaceuticals for more than 80 years, most recently by the Haupt Pharma group.
Almost a year ago the news came: The company owned by the Starnberg group Aenova is closing and putting its approximately 300 Wolfratshausen employees out on the streets.
A spokeswoman for the company cited “additional official requirements” as the reason for the closure of the location.
Its adaptation to the new conditions did not appear to be “economically viable”.
The savings bank now acquired part of the property on Pfaffenrieder Straße.
Previously it served as a parking lot and tennis court.
According to the financial institution, the transport connections and the parking situation are correspondingly good.

However, the savings bank uses further information sparingly.
There is no date for the start of construction yet, and according to spokesman Bundschuh, it is “still too early” to make a cost forecast.
Christian Spindler, Vice Chairman of the Board, sets out at least the rough time frame in the press release.
“We will start the further planning process in the next few weeks.” The aim is to be able to move into the new advice center on Pfaffenrieder Straße “in the next four to five years”.
However, it is still unclear what will happen to the future empty premises on Sauerlacher Strasse.
The smaller office planned there will take up significantly less space.
Press spokesman Bundschuh: “We ask for your patience.”
