On Friday around eleven at night, Ryan, a 14-year-old teenager, died from cardiorespiratory arrest near a metro station in Getafe (Madrid).
Analysis shows that there were drugs in his system, according to police sources.
The agents are now investigating the origin of these narcotics and how the young man ingested them.
There are many questions and some answers.
How did he die?
The official cause of death is cardiorespiratory arrest, according to the autopsy.
The Summa 112 health workers tried to reverse it for more than half an hour, but it was impossible.
A pedestrian who was in the area, a few meters from the Los Espartales metro station, was the first to begin these maneuvers.
At the time of his death, the boy was with two friends, who remained by his side the entire time.
According to witnesses, the minor fainted, it seems that he regained consciousness a little, but he fainted and did not wake up again.
His body did not show any signs of violence.
The case was prosecuted to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a boy so young that, in principle, he had no previous pathologies.
The blood test showed that there was cocaine in his body, according to sources close to the case.

The friends who were with him initially declared that they had voluntarily consumed drugs, something that the family denies, as they told Europa Press.
In this case, one of the lines of investigation consists of analyzing the origin of the narcotics they consumed and who sold them to them.
It is also being investigated whether the young man could suffer from some type of cardiac pathology that would have triggered death.
A family source maintains, however, that he accessed a video posted on social networks in which two boys claimed to have put “two grams of

” in another teenager's drink and suspect that they were talking about Ryan.
That is why they believe that the boy did not know that he was using drugs.
Police sources claim to have no reliable evidence at this time about the content of that alleged video, which the family claims has already been removed from the internet.
At this time, the case is not being investigated as a homicide.

The most common mixture is ketamine, MDMA (ecstasy) and caffeine, according to a report by the organization Energy Control, which works to make drug consumption safe.
Although it has a reputation for being an “exclusive product”, it is a common drug that is sold at high prices: a gram cost up to 100 euros in 2022.
With these data, it seems difficult to think that 14-year-old teenagers would have money to buy two grams, much less for a supposed joke.

As in any investigation, the police are taking statements from witnesses, analyzing security cameras in the area and studying the content of the victim's cell phone.
