District – “Despite all the challenges, positive.” This is how the SPD district association Miesbach describes its annual general meeting.
Chairman Peetroons is critical of his party.
Bruno Peetroons was re-elected SPD district chairman in Miesbach with a large majority at the most recent annual general meeting.
“The coming year will certainly bring many challenges, but we are optimistic and ready to tackle them,” explains Peetroons.
The young Holzkirchner took over the district SPD after the federal election and ran as a candidate in the state election.
Peetroons is critical of his party: “The traffic light tackles many important and long overdue things, but unfortunately public communication leaves a lot to be desired.
My goal is to make social democratic politics tangible here in Miesbach and to listen to people’s concerns.”
He receives support from his two deputies, Angela Falkenhahn from Valley and Bad Wiessee's mayor Robert Kühn, both of whom were confirmed in their positions.
Complementing the board are Barbara von Miller as well as Johann Schmid, Anne Spahmann, Tim Siebeneicher, Andreas Kempf, Dominik Hultsch-Kilius and the mayor of Otterfinger, Michael Falkenhahn.
“We have a good team from all corners of the district and a young, motivated chairman with whom we want to tackle it,” says Kühn, looking forward to the future.
More exchange with farmers
The first major task on the agenda for the district SPD is an exchange with farmers, who have invited the SPD local chairmen to talk.
“My claim is that we don’t duck away and also listen to the farmers.
We are always ready to admit mistakes, but also to clarify why some measures from Berlin make sense,” asserts district chairman Peetroons.
