Swinger tourism
is
a consolidated segment: cruises and exclusive trips for those who practice partner exchange have existed for decades and are on the rise.
José (60) and Claudia Aguirre (55)
are Mexicans, based in Miami, they practice swingerism and have been immersed personally and professionally in these experiences for 20 years.
His travel agency, Luxury Lifestyle Vacations, specializes in this niche and organizes vacations for adult couples in all types of destinations: stately mansions, ultra-modern hotels, exotic landscapes and iconic cities.
Packages can be through a cruise
or arriving directly at the place in question.
Rome, Barcelona, Vietnam, Cancun, Cap d'Agde, Alaska, Mykonos, Rio de Janeiro, Istanbul and even
Buenos Aires
are some of the places they have already visited with their clientele.
While at the beginning there were hotels that closed their doors, today the situation is so different that many chains are taking the initiative and looking for them to accommodate their travelers.
The origin of "liberal" tourism
The travel agency run by José and Claudia was born out of necessity.
In Florida, the couple owned a corporate events company that, after the
September 11 attack on the Twin Towers,
stopped operating.
Nobody organized or attended these types of meetings, which forced them to change their field.

“Everything was going very well until September 11 happened. Then, we started with this little world,” recalled Pepe, as everyone knows him.
The man explained to
Clarín
that some time before he had given his wife a
membership so they could go together
to a swinger club in Miami.
Thus, already immersed in that community, they bet on liberal tourism.
It was urgent to change activities to pay the bills and they debuted by organizing an event in Cancun for a small group of people.
Little by little the trips multiplied and today they are one of the most important companies in
luxury swinger tourism
.
Swingers holidays: what they include and who goes
“
People come for sex and curiosity, but they stay for friendships
,” said José.
Although most of this market is from the United States and Canada, they also have Argentine, Colombian, Venezuelan, Brazilian, Mexican and European clients.
“People come for sex and curiosity, but they stay for friendships,” said José Aguirre.

What his agency sells, in addition to proposals linked to swingerism, is luxury: “Whether it is a five-star hotel or a cruise ship, there is always good service, good food, good attention and excellent entertainment,” he said.
The options they currently manage are in
cruise mode or with hotels closed exclusively for them
, where all the facilities are available for the group of tourists who hired Luxury Lifestyle Vacations.
The idea is that during the day tourists explore, walk and discover the cities and, at night, the Aguirres are in charge of organizing the party: there are theme nights, DJs, contests, games and even
seminars on sexuality
.
According to Pepe, there are some prejudices that still persist around swingerism: “When people hear this they think that they come, take off their clothes and start doing things everywhere.
But no,
this is an ordered disorder
.
There is a place for everything,” he clarified.
Trips cost between $4,000 and $12,000.

The public varies depending on the proposal and the prices: the cheapest trips, which are around
$4,000
, may have a younger clientele, from 30 years old.
The higher the price, the older you are: the most expensive packages (
up to $12,000
) attract
tourists between 40 and 60 years old
.
Swinger cruise: in 2025 the destination is Argentina
Next year the company has scheduled a cruise trip in Argentina: they will visit
Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Antarctica
.
It will not be the first time, since in 2015 one of his cruises ended in CABA.
When choosing their destinations, José explained, a non-negotiable requirement is that the hotels they hire have five stars, “privacy and discretion, so that everyone feels safe and is not exposed to anything.”
Another objective is isolated beaches, where there is no movement of people nor can they be seen from the street, he added.
Secluded beaches and discreet hotels, fundamental requirements for swinger tourism.

“The difference between regular trips and us is that
people come here to have fun
, no one complains and they are very grateful.
They are always pleasantly surprised and want more,” Aguirre mentioned.
In fact, many of their clients traveled with this agency so many times that each new departure is a reunion.
“They see their friends in different places around the world and, whether they have sex or not, they have a great time,” she concluded.
