In the video: We sent three young men to the barn factory in Sderot/directed, photographed and edited by Or Sit
In recent years, quite a few young people who lived in the south decided to pack up and move to the big city of Tel Aviv, with the aim of finding a job and starting their career.
But Sderot is not what it used to be - today the city offers many employment opportunities, including for young people, in a wide variety of fields.
In order to promote the future generation, the Asem Nestlé Group established a fund to support the residents in the amount of millions of shekels.
The fund focuses on industrial technological education for the residents of Sderot and will work in cooperation with the Sderot municipality, with the aim of developing industry in the city and helping to create a better future for the future generation.
Three of them came to the Asem factory in Sderot, to see up close the employment opportunities available in one of the largest factories in the city.
What technologies were they exposed to and what did they learn during the tour?
We went out to check.
The Esem Nestlé Group's fund will focus on industrial technological education, which will allow the residents of Sderot future opportunities for integration in the fields necessary in Israeli industry and science and technology professions.
The fund will work in collaboration with the Sderot municipality and will offer individual scholarships to students in the various universities and colleges, and will also assist in the creation of technological-industrial education projects in the various educational institutions in the city.
