King
Charles III
reappeared with an official activity this Wednesday at Buckingham Palace.
The monarch held a
meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak
, before whom he said he was moved "to tears" by the expressions of support after revealing that he is being treated for cancer.
The meeting was announced by the Royal Family through social networks and occurs just over two weeks after the official announcement about King Carlos III's cancer.
The premier told Charles III that "the whole country" gives him its support, while the monarch admitted that he felt very moved, "to tears," by the messages and cards of support he received after his cancer diagnosis.
As is tradition, the audiences of the king and the prime minister take place on Wednesday afternoons at Buckingham Palace, after the head of the Government's control session in the House of Commons (Lower) of Parliament.
