Before discussing
“debates which are numerous”
, Sonia Mabrouk decided to broadcast this Wednesday February 21 in “Midi News” an extract from the France Inter morning show.
The day before, Léa Salamé received Thomas Legrand, editorialist at
Libération
.
To discover
TV tonight: our selection of the day
“Sonia Mabrouk spends her time receiving colleagues from the Bollosphere, who have not done any reporting. she spends her time interviewing Raoult, Onfray..."
.
For Thomas Legrand, she is not
“a real journalist”
.
Léa Salamé defends her colleague, rightly recalling that she is a
“politician morning interviewer”
.
Indeed, Sonia Mabrouk is on the microphone of Europe 1 every morning in this sense, a sequence co-broadcast on CNews.
A right of reply
Back on set, Sonia Mabrouk offers her right of reply.
“Mr. Thomas Legrand, you implicate CNews and you implicate me by name.
Wrongly stating that I receive certain personalities including Professor Raoult.
It turns out that I never received it, but you are not exactly lying
,” the journalist begins firmly on the set of her channel.
“Even if I had invited him like so many other colleagues in different channels and on different airwaves, I would not apologize for it and certainly not to you. But you go further because you question my status as a journalist
,” she continues before questioning:
“But who are you to do it like this?
Who are you to speak like this and from what magisterium you express yourself.
Have you been appointed arbiter of the eloquence of our profession which has been my passion for 20 years?
.
“
Immense humility is the trait of the greatest, not to judge others”
Sonia Mabrouk on CNews
Sonia Mabrouk then details her CV impression and the numerous books she has written
“no doubt that you have not read if you read any”
.
The journalist also takes care to give the number of her press card:
“Yes, I have to give it today, but it seems that in your eyes it is more of a number since your only goal is to lock me up, to lock ourselves into a framework which apparently goes far beyond your skills, your capacities and your faculties
.
“Above all, I was lulled and nursed by the greatest journalists who were Jean Lacouture, Jean Daniel and who were immensely humble and ultimately it is the trait of the greatest, not to judge others”
, continues to assert Sonia Mabrouk who ends her response with panache:
“If one day you are threatened, denounced for your comments or harassed, know that you will find me on your side because that is the immense difference, abyss and gap between us is that I would defend you.
Not because you’re a journalist, but because it’s right
