The authorities explained that the young man heard his mother screaming on the first floor and, after going down to see what was happening, apparently found his father choking his mother, whom he had stabbed with a knife.

When he saw that his mother was bleeding, he called 911.

A call full of anguish

The authorities reported that the man remained hospitalized for several days in a hospital before being admitted to prison, where he is awaiting an upcoming trial.

Sancler faces charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
