Schlehdorf - While turning, an 84-year-old overlooked a cyclist in Schlehdorf.
He fell and was taken to UKM by ambulance.
On Thursday (February 15th) at around 1:20 p.m. there was a traffic accident on Seestrasse in Schlehdorf in which a cyclist was injured.
According to police information, an 84-year-old VW driver coming from Kochel in the Loisachtal valley turned left onto Seestrasse on state road 2062 at the entrance to Schlehdorf.
There he wanted to turn left again into the parking lot at the monastery courtyard.
He overlooked a 71-year-old cyclist from Ohlstadt who was approaching on Seestrasse.
According to the police, he was no longer able to brake in time to avoid a collision with the turning car.
He hit the right side of the VW and fell.
The cyclist sustained minor injuries.
He was taken to the Murnau accident clinic by ambulance.
The police estimate the damage to the bike to be around 300 euros.
The damage to the car amounts to around 2000 euros.
