“Let's Dance” has been flickering across German TV screens since 2006.

Over a hundred celebrities have taken part in the popular RTL show to date - but some of them have been somewhat forgotten.

1 / 15Politician Heide Simonis (†80) floated across the RTL dance floor alongside dancer Hendrik Höfken in the first season of “Let's Dance” (2006).

Together they took fourth place.

Simonis stopped participating after the fifth show for health reasons.

In the eleventh season of “Let's Dance” (2018) she took last place with dancer Vadim Garbuzov.

What many people no longer know: Nazan Eckes moderated the first three seasons of “Let’s Dance”.

Cologne – Some “Let’s Dance” candidates will always be remembered by RTL viewers – especially the winners.

But after more than 15 years of TV dance competitions and over a hundred participants, it is clear that one or two celebrities are no longer so present in the minds of fans.

So which long-forgotten stars were already on the RTL show?

And which celebrity from this year's season could possibly be on the forgotten list in the future?
