Hunter Biden pleads innocent at his latest trial.
The “cocaine” is “sawdust”.
The two Biden procedures are related.
Delaware – Hunter Biden pleads innocent in latest firearms trial.
The legal team's argument: The Ministry of Justice confused sawdust with cocaine in its cell phone photos.
The recent indictment of FBI informant Alexander Smirnov and the impeachment proceedings against father Joe Biden complicate the proceedings against Hunter Biden.
The 54-year-old son of the current US president has been involved in several lawsuits over tax fraud and drug abuse cases in recent years.
The trials were repeatedly used politically by the Republicans against President Joe Biden.
In the latest court case, federal investigators filed three firearms charges against Hunter Biden.
A conviction would mean up to 25 years in prison and a $750,000 fine.
FBI is said to have found cocaine - Biden's legal team argues against the evidence
Federal investigators allege in the lawsuit that Hunter Biden applied for a firearms permit and lied about his drug use.
The basis of the indictment - as in the tax fraud proceedings - is an FBI allegation: cocaine residue was said to have been found in a gun bag that was in Hunter Biden's possession in 2018.
Lawyers on Biden's side requested the compulsory provision of evidentiary arguments on Tuesday (February 20).
In the lawsuit they complained about the lack of material and rejected the alleged cocaine images.
It was also argued there that his former psychiatrist, Dr.
Keith Albow, Hunter Biden sent the photos.
Especially on the Republican side, a lot of people are drawing conclusions about President Joe Biden from the legal proceedings of his son, Hunter Biden.

"The prosecution is completely false - both in claiming that Mr. Biden 'took' this photo and in claiming that it depicts 'cocaine,'" attorney Abbe Lowell said in his motion.
“The prosecution was reckless in making such an exaggerated and sensational claim in a public filing that it surely knew would cause public harm to Mr. Biden,” the motion continued.
After FBI informant Smirnow is indicted, Hunter Biden will soon be a witness in the impeachment trial
The allegations from Hunter Biden's legal team come in the context of the indictment of FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who is said to have fabricated corruption allegations against Hunter Biden regarding alleged business dealings in Ukraine.
Special prosecutor David Weiss himself, who is overseeing the cases against Hunter Biden, brought the charges against Smirnow.
Some Democrats then called for an end to the trials.
According to
National Review
, Hunter Biden is scheduled to appear in court in Joe Biden's impeachment trial on February 28.

Worse “than confusing sawdust with cocaine”: Hunter Biden’s legal team suspects more
Hunter Biden's legal team used Sminorw's indictment for the firearms trial: "More notably, starting in July 2023, the special counsel team would follow Mr. Smirnow in his hole of lies for as long as they did," the motion states.
“Disclosure about why the special counsel abandoned his June-July 2023 agreements with Mr. Biden and the role played by the Smirnow allegations could reveal errors worse than confusing sawdust with cocaine,” Hunter said Biden's legal representation continued in the application.
