16 days have passed since Monday, February 5, when the trial against Dani Alves for sexual assault began and the Barcelona Court summoned
the former player for this Thursday to communicate its sentence on the case: if found guilty, he could receive a penalty of up to 12 years in prison.
According to judicial sources, the 21st section of the Barcelona Court
summoned the footballer at 10:30 in the morning
and he will be taken to the Court in a police van from the Brians prison, where he was imprisoned a little over a year ago. preventive.
The summons generated surprise in Spain, where it was expected that the Court's decision would be delayed even more.
In fact,
the estimated date for the ruling was only in the first days of March.
For this reason, some media do not rule out that the call from the Court is, in reality,
to communicate its decision regarding the request for provisional freedom made by the footballer's lawyer,
