Bus instead of train is currently the case again on the route between Peißenberg and Weilheim.

The “wobbly passage” between Peißenberg and Weilheim remains the problem child of the Pfaffenwinkelbahn.
But the BRB has already drawn up plans for the near future.
District - At the moment - as so often - the patience of commuters is required.
There was silence on the tracks between Peißenberg and Weilheim last week.
The section near Grasla known as the “wobbly spot” caused problems once again.
Regular traffic was out of the question.
Sensors that monitor the stability of the railway embankment were activated and the section of the route was immediately closed.
After the section was reopened relatively quickly, disillusionment quickly followed over the weekend: same scenario, same measure.
The “sensor sounded the alarm again,” explains BRB spokeswoman Sabine Floßmann.
Experts from DB InfraGo, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, are trying to locate the damage, she said when asked.
Despite all efforts, commuters are once again the victims of the situation.
The fact that the replacement rail service between the district town and the market town has now been extended for the time being was probably little consolation for most commuters.
“Unfortunately, there is currently no result,” said Floßmann on Monday evening when asked how the assessment of the position was going.
She didn't want to and couldn't give a prognosis.
Dilapidated infrastructure and delays on the Pfaffenwinkelbahn - a new timetable will apply from February 26th
The slow speed points on the Pfaffenwinkelbahn, which are primarily due to the dilapidated infrastructure, are currently having a negative impact on rail customers.
With delays of ten minutes regularly occurring, many people worry about the connection to Munich or Garmisch-Partenkirchen - and are often left behind.
Anger and helplessness on the platforms are almost a familiar sight.
But the BRB wants to take countermeasures, finally make punctuality normal again and at the same time improve its damaged image.
From Monday, February 26th, some new departure and arrival times will apply on the Ammersee-Altmühltal network.
A new timetable will also be used on the Pfaffenwinkelbahn, the southern section.
They would like to “buffer the construction defects for the time being,” said Floßmann.
After a few complaints, the BRB is particularly concerned about reliably transporting students again.
“Comprehensive modernization of the route” in August
More time is now planned for this.
For example, two minutes more will be planned in the future for the section from Peißenberg to Schongau, which also has a slow speed zone in the area of the B 472 underpass near Hohenwart.
It remains to be seen whether the timetable change will ultimately be enough to get the delays under control in the long term.
With regard to the question of whether the plans need to be adjusted at the beginning of summer, when the warm temperatures threaten to cause unpleasant track deformations and consequently further slow driving areas, the answer is also still unclear.
However, the summer slow speeds have already been “partially taken into account in the new timetable,” according to the BRB.
The new plan can already be downloaded online.

The BRB has more trouble in store for its customers in the summer.
Those responsible are promising “comprehensive modernization of the route” for August.
Details will follow soon from the network operator DB InfraGo.
It should already be clear to all passengers that there will be more frequent rail replacement services.

Track repair near Starnberg
Yesterday, passengers on the Werdenfelsbahn also had to accept considerable delays.
The DB announced that the line between Gauting and Starnberg
was closed in the morning between Starnberg and München-Pasing
due to repairs.
Trains from Weilheim and Penzberg only ran to Tutzing or Starnberg
and ended there early.
The railway wanted to set up a replacement service with large taxis.
Although the route was soon open again, there were still
longer delays
