"SognandoAsolo" is the title of the special guide created by the Lucia Guderzo Foundation of Loreggia (Padua) to encourage the full enjoyment of historical, artistic and urban assets also by blind citizens.

The guide, created in digital format and in Braille, aims to be a contribution to social inclusion on the occasion of National Braille Day, enjoys the patronage of the Veneto Region and the City of Asolo, and will be available at the Tourist Office and requested from the Foundation.

The author is Daniele Ferrazza, journalist and writer, who was councilor for culture and mayor of Asolo: "Too often - he states - we visit cities using only the visual function, the most immediate but also the most superficial: instead our senses tell a thousand other nuances, to which we don't give enough attention. I therefore tried to describe Asolo through the different senses: the sounds, the flavours, the scents, the shapes describe a lot about a place".

The publication contains a tactile map of the historic center of Asolo and the access roads, with itineraries.

Its creation involved simplification work and the preparation of graphics that were clearly legible.

The work was printed with a ViewPlus printer in Corvallis (Oregon), distributed in Italy by Tiflosystem in Piombino Dese (Padua).

The inclusive walk begins at the foot of Asolo, where the buses stop, and continues to the square.

From this point the itineraries chosen to describe the "city of a hundred horizons" begin in a series of routes that touch the main points of interest: from the Cathedral to Villa Freya, from the church of San Gottardo to the Castle, from the church of Santa Caterina to the cemetery of Sant'Anna and up to the Rocca di Asolo.
