A plane had to make an emergency landing at Munich Airport.
The reason: a cracked windshield.
The passengers were rebooked on other flights.
Munich - It is probably the horror scenario for many people who are afraid of flying: In the air it is suddenly discovered that the plane is no longer airworthy and an emergency landing has to be initiated.
That's exactly what happened on Sunday, February 4th, on a flight from Ljubljana (Slovenia) to Luxembourg.

About half an hour after it was discovered, the passenger plane was able to land safely at Munich Airport.

When asked by our editorial team, Munich Airport can confirm the incident: The pilot alerted the tower at Munich Airport, a spokesman said.
“If the alarm is triggered, the fire brigade and rescue service are on hand.” This is the usual safety procedure if a fire breaks out on the machine, parts break off or passengers are injured.
Fortunately, none of these cases occurred: “The landing was safe.
“Nothing happened,” said the spokesman.
According to

the flight was canceled and passengers were rebooked on other flights.
The damaged machine was able to continue its journey to Luxembourg 31 hours later.
