Princess Leonore is celebrating her 10th birthday, but there is no official congratulation.
Things are different for the children of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.
Pinecrest – A big day for Princess Madeleine of Sweden (41) and husband Chris O'Neill (49).
On February 20th, their eldest daughter, Princess Leonore, turned ten.
But while Madeleine congratulated her “funny and adventurous girl” Leonore with a sweet photo on
, the Swedish palace remained silent.

Princess Madeleine has been living in sunny Florida with her husband and their children Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas (8) and Princess Adrienne (5) for five years now.
The move to Stockholm planned for summer 2023 was canceled at the last second, and since then the Swedes have been waiting for their princess to return to her old homeland.
At her current home in Pinecrest, Madeleine's offspring can grow up away from the public eye, but the distance from the Swedish royal family also has its downsides.

So Leonore couldn't celebrate her 10th birthday with her cousin Estelle (11) and her cousins Oscar (7), Alexander (7), Gabriel (6) and Julian (2).
And there are no congratulations to Princess Leonore on the official
account or the Swedish palace's website either.
The situation is different for the children of Crown Princess Victoria (46) and Prince Daniel (50), who are higher in the line of succession to the throne.
On the last birthdays of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, the royal family congratulated them with new pictures and congratulations.

When asked by the Swedish magazine

, the court explained: “Princess Leonore's birthday is celebrated privately.” Madeleine's aunt, Princess Birgitta (87), definitely did not call Leonore, as did the sister of Sweden's King Carl XVI, who lives in Mallorca.

And a meeting with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel was also not on the agenda.
Although the two are currently on a state visit to the USA, the distance is too great - Madeleine lives with her family on the east coast, Victoria and Daniel are on the west coast in San Francisco.
If Madeleine actually moves to Sweden this year, the family would move closer together again.
But Princess Madeleine's move could fail because of her husband Chris.
