Four days at work, two days off then… four days at work, two days off.
Since the end of January, 170 volunteer RATP agents working in stations on lines 5, 7 and 9 of the metro as well as RER B have started to test this new work rhythm, unprecedented at the Régie.
If the experiment, which will be carried out at least until next October, proves conclusive, the possibility of moving to a 4-day week could then be open to all of the Régie's 6,000 station agents.
This small revolution to come in the organization of work at RATP is one of the key points of the “QVCT” agreement (the acronym for quality of life and working conditions) — which was signed this Wednesday by FO , the CFE-CGC and the Unsa, three of the four unions representing the company.
The CGT, the Régie's first union organization, did not sign the document.
