Artificial intelligence has been on everyone's lips since the triumph of the chatbot ChatGPT.
In April, the Hannover Messe wants to show how this can also help the industry to remain competitive.
Hanover - Artificial intelligence, hydrogen and climate-friendly production are the big topics at this year's Hanover Fair.
“We want to show how the industry can continue to function competitively in the future,” said trade fair boss Jochen Köckler on Wednesday when presenting the program.
In his opinion, artificial intelligence (AI) will play a crucial role in this.
Accordingly, the topic will take up a lot of space as a new focus at the world's largest industrial show.
4,000 exhibitors are expected at the trade fair from April 22nd to 26th, the same number as at last year's edition.
Numerous technology companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon Web Services, Dell, SAP, Siemens and Bosch have also registered.
There are also a number of medium-sized companies and more than 300 start-ups.
Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and the Prime Minister of this year's partner country Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, are expected at the opening.
