A man was waiting for a parking space at the market square in Holzkirchen.
An accident occurred, probably caused by a black car driving past.
Holzkirchen - On Tuesday (February 20th), a 77-year-old from Holzkirchen was in his car on the Holzkirchner market square in the parking lot in front of a bakery around 3:15 p.m.
According to police, the man had to wait for a free parking space.
He pulled over to the side “to let the vehicles behind drive through.”

As he drove past, the 77-year-old's car was "hit by a previously unknown car," explains the Holzkirchen police.
According to the report, the still unknown car is said to be a black panel van.
“The unknown person who caused the accident then left without fulfilling his legal obligations,” it continues.
The 77-year-old's car was scratched on the left rear.
There was material damage of around 1000 euros.
The police in Holzkirchen are asking witnesses to call 08024/90740 with any relevant information.
