The line of "building on the built" and the reduction of land consumption of the Municipality of Pesaro continues, led by the mayor Matteop Ricci, which has the third step of a resolution that transforms 6 hectares previously buildable agricultural land, bringing the green areas to 1,240,000 m2 , previously "concreteable".
A value equal to 140 football fields, according to Ricci and the councilor for Rapidity Mila Della Dora, who speak of "a silent and sustainable revolution that we have been carrying out since the first legislature to protect the environment and the landscape, and contain land consumption ".
"We are not taking away spaces from construction - say Ricci and DellaDora - but we are optimizing the existing ones, following the logic of 'building on the built' and the watchwords we have given ourselves: flexibility and speed".
The resolution contains a "substantial variation to the current Prg for the purposes of reducing land consumption and urban planning load in relation to some areas located in the municipal territory", was approved by the Council and will be discussed with the third passage in the City Council.
"As foreseen by the Pesaro 2030 strategy, the rights of the owners of building areas are respected and the requests of those who ask to return their land to agriculture are facilitated" explain the mayor and councilor, by making the intended use of the properties more flexible, to push for "a model of sustainable construction and for a city that breathes better".
The 10 areas affected by the variant are located in the following locations: Muraglia, Fornace Mancini, Borgheria, Montelabbatese (via delle Regioni), Villa Ceccolini, Ginestreto, Campanara, Villa Fastiggi, Parco del Cuneo Verde, via Solferino.
