Italy is top in the European Union for the number of targets under its National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) met with 178 out of 527 reached, the European Commission said Wednesday.
Spain is second with 121 out of 416 milestones achieved andCroatia third with 104 out of 372, the EC said.
Italy and Spain are the two countries which have received the biggest share of NRRP funds including low-interest loans and subsidies, the commission said.
Out of the 800 billion allocated overall to the post-COVIDrecovery programme, Italy has asked for 194.4 billion and Spain163 billion, said the EU executive.
